On April 24^th, 2025, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van met and worked with Mr. Saleh Djeghloul - Chairman of the Algeria - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarian Group. Attending the meeting were leaders of a number of units under the Ministry of Construction and members of the Algeria - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group.

On April 24^th, in Hanoi, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a ceremony to announce the Journal of Science and Transport Technology (JSTT) was officially accepted into the Scopus database - one of the largest and most prestigious scientific index systems in the world. Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh attended and spoke at the ceremony.

This morning (April 18^th), in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh had a meeting and worked with Ms. Mariam Sherman – WB Country Director for Vietnam, Cambodia, and Lao.  Attending the meeting were leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction; senior officials and experts of the WB.

On April 14^th, 2025 (local time), First Secretary of the Communist Party and President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel received a delegation of the Vietnamese Government, led by Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can, at the Palace of Revolution. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van represented the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee to join the delegation. The meeting affirmed the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.

Authorized by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, during his working visit to Cuba (April 11-12, 2025), the Vietnamese Government delegation led by Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can held talks with Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Oscar Pérez Oliva - Fraga to promote bilateral cooperation. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van attended and exchanged opinions at the talks.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping began his two-day State visit to Viet Nam from April 14-15, at  the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) Central Committee Tô Lâm and State President Lương Cường.

Vietjet Airlines and AV AirFinance have just signed a cooperation agreement worth 300 million USD, witnessed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Ho Duc Phoc, during a business trip aimed at promoting Vietnam-U.S. economic and trade relations. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van also participated in the Delegation.

On April 9^th, 2025, in Hanoi, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the French Directorate General for Civil Aviation signed Annex VI of the Technical Cooperation Agreement between the two parties in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Construction of Vietnam, Le Anh Tuan, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Vietnam, Olivier Brochet.

Within the framework of the official state visit of the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam, on April 1^st, 2025, the Flanders Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (FIT) in cooperation with key industry leaders organized the Workshop "Belgium - Vietnam: Partners in sustainable solutions - Building tomorrow: Vision for resilient and sustainable cities".

The northern mountainous province of Lào Cai and China’s Yunnan Province broke ground on a road bridge across the Red River in the Bát Xát (Lào Cai Province, Việt Nam) - Ba Sa (Yunnan Province, China) border area on March 31^st.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Vietnam Maritime and Waterways Administration and the Office of the Premier and Foreign Affairs of the Flanders Region, Kingdom of Belgium was held on March 31^st, in Hanoi. Attending the signing ceremony were Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Xuan Sang, Minister in charge of Brussels and Communications of the Flanders Region, Ms. Cieltje Van Achter.
