On May 20th, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh received Mr. Zhu Guangxie, Vice Chairman of Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC).
At the meeting, Mr. Zhu Guang Xia introduced basic information about China Metallurgical Corporation (MCC) and expressed his desire to expand cooperation with Vietnam in the fields of urban infrastructure, transport infrastructure (including highways, railways, seaports and airports), energy facilities and irrigation works.

At the meeting, Minh expressed his pleasure in welcoming Mr. Zhu Guangxie and members of the delegation to visit and work with the Ministry of Construction. The Minister emphasized the special cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China, which continues to grow and expand across all sectors.
According to Mr. Zhu Guang Xia, China Metallurgical Corporation is a state-owned enterprise, in the TOP 10 largest enterprises in China today and has established more than 130 overseas facilities in 50 countries (regions) around the world, including Vietnam.
Mr Zhu respectfully invited Minister Tran Hong Minh to visit China Metallurgical Corporation to fully recognize the scale and development potential of the Corporation, open up new cooperation opportunities between Vietnamese construction enterprises and China Metallurgical Corporation.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Tran Hong Minh highly appreciated the development level of China's metallurgy industry in general and of China Metallurgical Corporation in particular. He also mentioned that the Vietnamese Ministry of Construction always pays attention to and develops cooperative relations with international partners, including China, and expects in the coming time, China Metallurgical Corporation will achieve many successes in expanding cooperative relations and implementing projects in Vietnam.

Overview of working session
Thanking Vice Chairman Zhu Guang Xia for the invitation to visit China Metallurgical Group Corporation, Minister Tran Hong Minh stated that he would arrange a visit to the Corporation at an appropriate time. He also wished Mr. Zhu Guang Xia and the delegation a successful business trip and fruitful outcomes during their time in Vietnam.
