On April 24th, in Hanoi, the University of Transport Technology (UTT) held a ceremony to announce the Journal of Science and Transport Technology (JSTT) was officially accepted into the Scopus database - one of the largest and most prestigious scientific index systems in the world. Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh attended and spoke at the ceremony.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Ministries of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Education and Training, Science and Technology; National Defense, Agriculture and Environment, representatives of Central Agencies, Departments, and Branches, along with the Board of Directors and staffs, lectures and students of the University of Transport Technology.

Delegates pressed the button to launch a new phase of the Journal of Science and Transport Technology.
JSTT is the only journal in Vietnam to date to be accepted by Scopus after only 3 years of establishment. JSTT is one of the very few Vietnamese journals with an internationally recognized university publisher, developed entirely based on academic strength, rigorous peer review process and clear internationalization strategy.

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Phan Xuan Thuy presented the Certificate of Recognition recognizing JSTT Journal as officially joining the Scopus Directory.
At the announcement ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Phan Xuan Thuy presented the Certificate of recognition of the Journal of Science and Transport Technology (JSTT) officially joining the Scopus Directory to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long - Principal of the University of Transport Technology.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Tran Hong Minh affirmed JSTT being included in Scopus is not only an important milestone for the University of Transport Technology but also an achievement that contributes to positioning Vietnam's scientific publishing industry on the international academic map.

The announcement ceremony today is a testament to the determination to implement the Party and State's policies on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation as stated in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation and most recently Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP dated April 8, 2025 amending and perfecting the strategic contents of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW'. Minister of Construction affirmed , congratulated and praised the achievements of the School, of the team of teachers, scientists and educational managers of the School in the past time.
Minh also suggested that the University of Transport Technology focuses on some issues, identifying the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation as the top important breakthroughs, the main driving force for socio-economic development, preventing the risk of falling behind, and bringing the country to breakthrough development and prosperity.
The School needs to focus on building a team of teachers and educational managers; have breakthrough solutions to develop a team of leading experts and scientists, especially in key professions of the industry such as bridge and road construction technology, construction management... especially high-speed railways.
The Minister requested the School to build a truly healthy learning environment; create favorable conditions for learning, research; create an challenges environment for graduates can quickly adapt to work; continue to accelerate the process of "digital transformation" in higher education and strengthen international cooperation in university training, especially for key professions to enhance the capacity of the School; expand training cooperation models, especially cooperation with large enterprises and corporations aiming to provide skilled human resources for the Industry and the Ministry.
Also at the announcement ceremony, delegates pressed the button to launch the new phase of the Journal of Science and Transport Technology.
